ErP Directive Reminder: The transition period that has been in place since 26th September 2015 for the Ecodesign of Energy-related Products Directive, will be coming to an end.

What does this mean for Samsung Heat Pump Installers in UK?

Samsung units are on the MCS list, so feel free to install them without worry!

From March 26th 2016, MCS contractors will only be able to use Product Seasonal Performance (SCOP/SPER) data for heat pump installations.

The SCOP data be available on the MCS Installation Database (MID).

A requirement for RHI is that a minimum SCOP value of 2.5 must be achieved.

All products supplied by a manufacturer must have a product label and product fiche with the combined energy efficiency rating. For instructions on how to achieve a label, please click here.
