
LG Solar is investing in the future
LG Solar is putting $435M into tripling solar production capacity by 2020. The company has six new production lines in operation. Currently, capacity is at 1 gigawatt.
The LG Plan
LG will increase its production incrementally. LG will step up its production because they believe that more and more consumers will choose solar energy going forward. The current 1 gigawatt of production will increase to:
- 1.8 gigawatts in 2018
- 3 gigawatts by 2020
