The Bosch Power Max is an incredibly affordable Level 2 EVSE Charging Station that packs a powerful punch. This wonderfully styled, and easy to operate charging station will look right at home wall mounted in your garage. Also available are extra cord brackets. The Power Max is rated at 30 Amps UL Listed, and fully J1772 compliant so it works on cars such as the BMW Active E, Chevy Spark and Volt, Toyota Prius, Nissan Leaf, Tesla Roadster and Model S, and others, including your DIY EV with a J1772 module installed.

Bosch recommends working with an experienced electrician to install your new charging station. 

Ask your electrician to install a 40-amp breaker (20-Amp for the 16A Power Max) wire and conduit, needed to install a charging station. Once your electrician finishes you’ll be ready for charging. The Power Max Level 2 Charging Station is designed to be hardwired only.

The Power Max is built to exceed NEMA 3R standards, making it weather-resistant and suitable for indoor or outdoor installation. It will safely charge in rain, snow, sleet and ice or in the comfort of your garage.
