ABB’s Cable Drop Extender allows even more flexible micro inverter system design.
The pre-terminated extension end attaches directly to one micro inverter, and the other end is left bare. This means the Extender cable can be attached directly to the AC isolator and so single panel micro inverter systems are now possible. If two or three micro inverters are required, a junction box may be used and three Extender cables wired into it.
