You experience no inconvenience and it will only be a matter of seconds before all your household appliances are back up and running: you can watch TV, cook and the heating still works.
Expand the PIKO BA System so it is customised to your exact needs and your family is never left in the dark. The PIKO BA Backup Unit is a very simple way to extend and upgrade your storage system.
With the Kostal backup unit, it is activated in the event of a power failure and enables the backup operation of the Kostal BA system. In which case the Kostal Piko inverter provides a 3-phase emergency power supply. Only the discharge capacity is limited in pure battery operation.
Special note for Kostal Piko BA backup unit for blackouts
In combination with the Kostal solar battery, a discharge of up to 4.7 kW is possible in backup mode. With the BYD B-Box HV, the discharge is limited to max. 2.5 kW.

- Suitable for cosumer between 2,900 – 4700 W with PIKO Battery Li (depending on the number of the battery modules)
- Up to 18 hours of operation (with consumption of 500 W and fully-charged battery)
