Description
The MY-PV AC ELWA-F Solar PV Off-Grid Water Heater is an ingeniously simple solution. Photovoltaic off-grid systems have always to be dimensioned that they can provide enough energy even under unfavourable solar conditions. This inevitably leads to a shutdown of the solar generator even at good solar irradiation. This energy is lost.
The AC ELWA-F detects via the grid-control of the inverter, if there is excess energy in the off-grid available and uses it for the storage in hot-water. In that way the whole storage capacity in the off-grid system can be scaled up. Energy is used that was wasted until now.
The desired water-temperature can be adjusted with a knob.
