Description
The Phocos CML05 Solar Charge Controller 12-24V 5A is for small solar systems where no load disconnect is required, such as in yachts, caravans etc. The charging regime provides excellent battery treatment at a reasonable cost. The electronic circuit is equipped with a micro-controller which provides high-efficiency charging technology. The temperature-compensated three-stage PWM charging algorithm (boost-equalization-float) is adjustable to sealed and vented lead-acid batteries. The CML series also allows either SOC- or voltage-controlled low-voltage disconnect function.
The battery status is clearly indicated by three LEDs. The Phocos CML was the first controller in its price class available on the market to incorporate an alarm signal for low-voltage disconnect.
