THORMA Výroba, k. s. is a company which was established in 1998 and continues the more than 100 year old tradition of the former manufacturing company Kovosmalt Fiľakovo. The company is producing stoves, fireplaces, fireplace inlays and solid fuel cookers, cauldron sets and water heaters.
These main activities are replenished with metal processing cooperations. It is supplying the automotive industry and an agricultural machines manufacturer. Based on the customer demands it is cooperating on surface treatments as well, such as enameling, dyeing or electroplating. The product range is always adjusted to the market requirements thanks to its own development and design department, construction department and a test shop. Beyond its own product range it is developing and producing custom heating devices under customers own brand. More than 75% of the production is exported mainly to Germany, Czech republic a Denmark.
