The AIR 30 wind turbine is the latest generation of small wind turbines by Southwest Windpower. It is suitable for small battery-charging applications like small apartments, mobile homes, camping and much more. With the built-in intelligent charge controller the AIR 30 can be connected without further effort directly to the battery. The AIR 30 produces up to 400W at 12.5m/s wind speed.
The AIR 30 requires a higher start-up wind speed (> 3.6m / s) in contrast to the AIR 40, however it produces more energy at high average wind speeds.
Unlike the AIR Breeze and AIR X, the AIR 30 cannot be used in marine environments.
The AIR wind turbines are ideally suitable for small solar-wind hybrid systems.
