The first of the new SolarEdge inverters that require the use of SetApp in order to commission them, are arriving in stock now – the first to use this new technology is the 27,600W Three Phase Inverter Basic.
Activating, commissioning, and configuring is a simple process using the smartphone app and, in time, all of the new generations of SolarEdge inverters will be compatible. Get ahead by downloading the app today (links below) and becoming familiar with the layout.
How it works …
Once a secure wifi connection is created between the phone and inverter (by scanning the inverter barcode) the latest firmware can be uploaded to the inverter. Inverter configuration, such as country and grid, language and communication options are simple, with step-by-step instructions taking the installer through the whole process. Then the inverter is automatically activated.
