Updated Rules for LG RESU Solar Battery Warranty
How to become a Certified installer and register the installation to secure ten-year warranty. Conditions have changed, but not drastically.
What Are The Updated Rules for LG RESU Solar Battery Warranty ?
Installers must still pass the RESU online exam to gain Certification, but from 1st October, installations must also be registered on the LG Chem Partner Portal.
Previously, online registration wasn’t mandatory but was aimed instead at installers collecting points for discount coupons (the points system continues).
In short, all the installations which are made after 1st of October, 2020 should satisfy these two conditions:
- Installer should be LG Chem Certified – see how in the table below
- The installation must be registered on the LG Chem Partner Portal
